Using chrome finished brass chime tubes that are larger in diameter and with extra wall thickness, the Yamaha CH-500 Chime produces a full, rich tone. e pedal damper system operates with a quick, positive feel and features a lock to hold the damper open until its release by touching the pedal. Sturdy uprights and crossbars of heavy gauge steel reduce sway while increasing stability during performance.

Features
Wire
Coated steel wires are wrapped in a fluorine resin tube. The double covering prevents noise and gives the sound more projection and clarity.
Damper
The CH-500 is equipped with a three-board damper system that permits quick dampening, and a one-touch damper stopper to hold the damper open.
Base
The U-shaped pedal offers easy operation from any playing position. The base section is designed with a heavy-duty structure to provide maximum stability.
